The Botanix Ecosystem Map: BTCFi, Layer by Layer

Most people still think Bitcoin is only the store of value. Botanix is building the architecture to change that. Here's how their ecosystem looks so far.

  1. Collateral Layer. BTC Put to Work

Everything starts here. stBTC is Botanix's yield-bearing BTC token, accruing native gas fees with no bonding periods or inflationary emissions.

  1. Liquidity Layer

GMX is live on Botanix, specializing in perpetual futures with up to 100x leverage. Perps on Bitcoin, you can say that again.

Bitzy handles spot swaps natively. Dolomite is also live, enabling spot trading, lending, and borrowing in one protocol.

Ammalgam merges trading and lending into a single protocol, a "DLEX" (decentralized lending exchange) so LP assets earn fees from both swaps and lending simultaneously.

Bridges connecting in: Stargate, Garden, Transporter, Atomiq, Lnfi Network.

  1. Credit Layer. Using Bitcoin as Collateral

This layer is deeper than most people realize. Five protocols in Lend/Borrow: Dolomite, Avalon, Segment, Bima, and Bound.

That's a credit market with actual competition.

  1. Infrastructure Layer

This is where it gets serious and shows how Botanix really stands out:

Oracles: Chainlink
RPC: Alchemy, Ankr
Explorer: Routescan
Indexing: The Graph, Subsquid
Wallets: Rabby, Tomo Wallet, OKX Wallet
Automation: Gelato
Multisig: Safe, Asigna
Messaging: LayerZero, Hyperlane
Custody: Fireblocks

That's a full infrastructure stack. Most new chains launch with one or two infra partners and call it enough. Botanix went and built the whole board.

At least four fully functional layers. Collateral, liquidity, credit, infrastructure, all of it Bitcoin-native, all of it being built simultaneously rather than bolted on one piece at a time.
